Return Policy

As all number plates are made to order and personalised to your vehicle registration, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds for change-of-mind orders once production has begun. All sales are considered final once your order has entered production.

To be eligible for a return, your item must have arrived damaged, faulty, or not matching the details you submitted at the time of order. You'll also need your order number and clear photos of the issue as proof.

To start a return, you can contact us at hello@onlyplatesireland.com. Please note that items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

If your return is accepted, we'll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. We will arrange a replacement or refund where applicable, at no additional cost to you.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please include clear photos and your order number when getting in touch.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

As number plates are custom-made and personalised to your vehicle registration, we are unable to accept returns for change-of-mind reasons. We also cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Exchanges

As each plate is made to order, we are unable to offer direct exchanges. If your item arrives faulty or incorrect, please contact us and once the return is accepted, we will arrange a replacement at no cost to you.

European Union 14 Day Cooling Off Period

Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, provided production has not yet begun. Once production has started, the order is considered personalised and is exempt from the standard EU cooling off period under Directive 2011/83/EU. You'll need your receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds

We will notify you once we've received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you'll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too. If more than 15 business days have passed since we've approved your return, please contact us at hello@onlyplatesireland.com.

This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
